Now it's only a click away...

A wise person once said: "To live one must eat...and to be well one must live"!

Nutrition is considered as “any substance that provides living things with the appropriate nutrients needed for energy, cell growth, and sustains or stimulates the mind in order to achieve homeostasis (balance)”.

Wellness is considered as “an approach to living in which one focuses on all aspects of their life, including the emotional, intellectual, physical, social, occupational, environmental, and spiritual life areas that make up a whole and complete life”.

Therefore, Nutritional Wellness can only be described as “having the appropriate nutrients for optimal physical and mental energy, growth, and stimulation to allow one to live a lifestyle that reflects positively on all aspects of life".

In reflection, the Nutritional Wellness Program philosophy posits that "every living thing is an organism...living within an ecosystem...which can only survive by maintaining a healthy and fully functionable homeostasis of Mind, Body, and Soul"

An organism reacts to stimuli, reproduces, grows, and maintains a homeostasis by relying on survival instincts.  Whether that organism is as small as a virus, bacterium, protest, or fungus; whether a plant, insect or animal (to include human); or as large as a planet, a galaxy, or a vast universe. Yet, it is only the human organism that has the ability to act outside their basic survival instincts, to establish opinions and beliefs, usually with good intentions, yet sometimes to their own and other’s demise.

It is humans with this added ability which makes them responsible not only of their own bodies and minds, but also the ecosytem they live within, which affects other ecosytems, and so on.

Neglecting this responsibility by ignoring this obvious need for "connectivity" of all living organisms for homeostasis, our ecosytem, as well as all others, would soon begin to fail and eventually die.

The Nutritional Wellness Program has been established to provide the educational tools and techniques to help us get back in touch with our basic instincts while taking responsibility in establishing and maintaining an optimal and sustainable Lifestyle that benefits all ecosystems.

The “Nutritional Wellness Program” consists of the following:

BioChemical Assessment:  Biochemistry is “the study of the chemical processes in living organisms. It deals with the structures and functions of cellular components such as proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and other biomolecules”. Over the last 40 years biochemistry has become so successful at explaining living processes that now almost all areas of the life sciences from botany to medicine are engaged in biochemical research. Today the main focus of pure biochemistry is in understanding how biological molecules give rise to the processes that occur within living cells which in turn relates greatly to the study and understanding of whole organisms.

NeuroChemical Assessment:  When the subconscious mind gets “programmed” with negative thoughts it can affect the homeostasis of the physical body.  This program will teach you how to “re-program” your subconscious by replacing those negative ideas into positive thoughts, allowing your body to function at its optimal and bring forth your best attributes.

Environmental Assessment:  A lifestyle is a choice of daily, minute by minute decisions that affect one’s physical, mental, emotional, and social life.  This assessment will help you to discover your strengths as well as the areas of your life that you are most motivated to change, and how these changes affect the world around you.

An Action Plan created by you based on the philosophy of taking small steps for continuous improvement.

Support:  You will be provided a suite of positive educational tools and techniques to help you successfully implement your Nutritional Wellness action steps. You will be encouraged to update your Nutritional Wellness Action Plan every three months to reflect your successes and your current areas of lifestyle focus. Between these re-assessments, you will be supported with FREE email reminders and encouraging coaching tips.

Resources:  You will have ongoing access to a multitude of online educational courses and other valuable resources to support you on your journey to achieving a lifestyle of nutritional wellness!
